Golden International School celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri with great respect and enthusiasm.
The event was graced by the presence of Principal Hussna Hussain, Headmistress Lakshmamma, along with members of the teaching and non-teaching staff.
An inspirational speech was delivered by Ms. Nageena, who highlighted the enduring principles of non-violence, truth, simplicity, and patriotic service championed by Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
The program concluded with a shared resolve among students and staff to follow the footsteps of these great leaders.
Golden International School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti at the school premises, Speeches were delivered by Principal, H.M and students highlighting on the principles of Gandhi, his life and about his ideals which highlighted on truth and nonviolence. The program was successful in providing great knowledge and our duties as a citizen of the nation.
Teachers day celebration for the academic year 2024-25 was celebrated with great enthusiasm by
the students of Golden International school. School captain, vice-captain and all the head
captains of the four houses took initiative in organizing the event with lots of zeal and zest.
The program started at 9:40 a.m. in the reception hall. Students gave a good welcome to all the
teachers with the flower shower and singing a melodious song to dedicate all the
teachers.
C.E.O Siraj sir presided the ceremony. The program began with the invocation followed with the
welcome speech by 10th standard students. An emotional and heart touching speech was presented
by the 10th grade students. They emphasized on the values they learnt, they spoke a serious of
metaphors and similes to characterize the nature of their teachers and their teaching. A
melodious song filled with Grace love and respect was dedicated to the teachers by the 10th
standard students.
C.E.O Siraj sir made a short speech. He appreciated the students for all the initiatives taken
by them accordingly and the love and respect shown by them towards their teachers.
In order to make the day more blissful, students arranged a few games for the teachers. Winners
were recognized by giving prizes. As a token of love and gratitude all the teachers were
requested to accept a gift from the students. Vote of thanks was delivered by 10th standard
student and thereby followed by a potluck lunch arranged by all the high school students. The
program ended happily by 3:00 p.m.
The Tiny Tots section recently celebrated Red Day, a vibrant and engaging event designed to introduce early learners to color recognition through sensory, interactive, and play-based activities. The primary objective was to help young children identify, differentiate, and associate the color red with everyday objects, fruits, and emotions in a fun, immersive environment.
The "Red Day" celebration was a resounding success, achieving its educational goals while providing a cheerful, memorable experience for the young learners. The active participation of the children made the day both meaningful and enjoyable.
On 5th June 2026, World Environment Day was celebrated by GIS during the morning assembly. The students were made aware of the importance of protecting our environment from various types of pollution. Students actively participated in various activities, including poster making, painting, essay writing, and more. Saplings were planted to promote a greener and cleaner environment.
On 21st June 2026, the 12th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at GIS. Mr. Doddanna, Yoga Instructor, actively participated in the event and delivered an insightful speech highlighting the importance of incorporating yogasanas into daily routines for overall well-being.
Principal Ms. Hussna Hussain addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role of yoga in developing physical, mental, and emotional resilience and encouraging students to make yoga a part of their daily lives.
The children performed various yogasanas and learned about the benefits of yoga in promoting physical flexibility, mental clarity, and emotional balance. The celebration inspired young participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great enthusiasm and was a grand success.
On 15th August, GIS celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebrations began with an impressive march-past display by all four houses. Following the march-past, the National Flag was hoisted, filling the atmosphere with a strong sense of patriotism among students and teachers.
The programme commenced with a welcome speech by the students of Grade 10, followed by speeches in English, Hindi, and Kannada. The Chief Guest, Mr. Gurumurthy Reddy, hoisted the National Flag, and Dr. Almas Fathima delivered an inspiring speech.
As a gesture of joy and celebration, sweets were distributed to all the children, making the occasion memorable and meaningful.
Golden Group of Institutions organized an awareness session on "Women's Health and Hygiene," led by Dr. Almas Fathima. Themed "Healthy Women, Stronger Families, Stronger Tomorrow," the event aimed to educate, empower, and inspire young women to prioritize their physical health and personal wellness.
The event concluded with the inspiring message: "Let's care, be aware, and inspire wellness in every woman. BE INFORMED. BE HEALTHY. BE EMPOWERED."
Golden International School CBSE successfully organized Youth Parliament 2026 on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026. Presented by the students of CBSE Grades 8, 9, and 10, the event provided an engaging platform to showcase young voices, foster leadership, and encourage active participation in democratic processes.

Golden CBSE School organized a practical experiential learning initiative in Vocational Education titled "School Kitchen Garden Activity" under the theme "Learning Outside the Classroom." Under the expert guidance of Mr. Niranjan, the event encouraged students to step beyond traditional learning environments and develop hands-on gardening skills, environmental awareness, and an understanding of sustainable living.
Students actively participated in the garden activity, handling crops, saplings, and green vegetation with enthusiasm. The activity fostered peer collaboration and team bonding while instilling a sense of responsibility and care towards nature.
